Who We Are

The Kern County Republican Central Committee is the voter-elected official representatives of the party. The Central Committee – or Kern GOP as most call it – is elected based on county supervisorial districts and the number elected is based on the number of registered Republicans in each supervisor district. The most important job for the local party is to build voter registration and build turnout at the polls. This involves phoning, walking door-to-door, mail, and other campaigns to encourage Republicans to vote at every election opportunity. Our priorities include our congressional and state legislative elected positions, as well as ensuring wherever possible that other non-partisan offices have candidates who are Republican with a conservative philosophy about the important role of local government.

Our Ideals

  1. Limited Government
